Dear all

When I took off the bottom cover of my laptop, to remove some hardware - I was nervous if I bent or harmed hardware in the proces.

How would you make sure, that:
The system creates and writes data to the drive, the same way as before I removed the bottom cover.
Data is created in the CPU and written to the drive correct and not corrupted or wrong.

In regard of my other thread:

Thank you

Why would removal of laptop cover impact a drive?
Did you touch the drive? Did you touch some other components?

If you were not careful, things you touched could get damaged.
You have to follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) considerations, before you touch anything.
Electronic components are sensitive to ESD and can be killed/damaged simply by touching them.

CPU doesn't create any data.
It executes instructions of a computer program, such as arithmetic, logic, controlling, and input/output (I/O) operations.

Why would removal of laptop cover impact a drive?

I am concered if bending the bottom cover during the removal proces, impacted the cover above and the hardware parts.

Here is a more detailed description of what I did:

Not necessarily the drive, but one or more of the hardware parts that create data and write data to the drive.

Hardware parts that are responsible for creating data and writing data to the drive:
RAM / memory
CPU
Drive
MOBO
Did you touch the drive? Did you touch some other components?
Only touched the part I removed, which is the network card with integrated bluetooth

If you touched only wifi card, then only wifi card could be damaged.

Forget about that. The question is weird (bordering on nonsensical).
