No usb cables from my motherboard or case to connect to my motherboard?

ive just put all my components into my case and just about to boot it up when i realize that there is nothing connected into my usb ports on my motherboard i check my power supply for the cable but i cant seem to see one that looks like it. i check my cases cables and there isnt any as well. does this mean i wont be able to use my usb ports at the front of the case? or even my usb Ports as there wont be any power running to it? My case is Corsair Carbide spec-03 and my motherboard is a gigabyte 990-fx

Your PSU doesn't plug into the USB board headers.

Your case should have a cable that looks like this

This plugs straight in the board USB 3 header whuch should be at the bottom of the board near the front panel connectors.

ive just got one more question about my power supply and graphics card i cant seem to connect the cable. it just wont go in, ive been using a lot of force trying to push it in and now im scared that im going to snap something. my graphics card is amd strix r9 380 sapphire 2gb

the graphic card and the power supply cable looks like it would fit but it goes in a little then it gets really hard to push in

You are using the correct cable??

& not the 4+4 pin atx which goes into the slot behind the CPU??

Slot the 2 pin onto the 6 pin FIRST before pushing in .
It should lock into place as there is a clip.
It will be tight but not to the extent that you have to force it.

ok yeah it was the wrong cable thanks. but one more thing while i was screwing everything back in and pulling the cable back out the screws fell out of my hand and onto the motherboard i had to take out the graphics card out sometimes and had to plug it back in. i couldnt of broke anything right? i am reallu nervous that i might of broke something due to static electricty but i was wearing a anti static wrist strap.... anyways another screw fell into the side of the graphics card so i had to pull it out again and i heard a few cracks when i went to push it back in. did i break something? i really hope not

There is a clip on the motherboard graphics slot that should have been pushed forwards to unlock before pulling the card out , hoping you didn't just yank it out?

no i didnt i pushed the clip open before taking it out. white light on my graphic card means good right? and oh is 2 fans enough for all of my stuff? and is my backround suppose to be green when loading windows 10 on my pc?

Green ? You mean the windows 10 install??

I honestly can't remember mate , if its running & you have a display though you should be good.
