No VGA on motherboard or graphics card

I have an MSI z270 gaming m7 and a gtx 1080 ti. I am not getting display on my monitor. I have tried display port and hdmi and the monitor is fine. Every fourm says I need to try VGA or DVI but they don't have those ports. Any ideas?

take the video card out & connect to the onboard video port.
