No video from new budget build 1060 6 gb.

Hey guys...built a budget pc last night.
Problem is everything powers on, fans are running and everything seems totally normal except the gpu gtx 1060 isn't putting out any video and the gpu fans keep starting and stopping or they don't run at all. But the EVGA light on the card is on. Its only got one 8 pin power spot btw.

Tried two different monitors and hdmi cables and tried resetting it and all that jazz....no luck.

What are the specs for the rest of your system?

Ryzen 1200
I have some temporary ram in there....I forget the exact specs for it but it's only a 4 gb stick but it's compatible...new ram comes in the mail on Monday.

Toshiba 1tb hard drive 7200 rpm.

Well those steps did help me find a problem...I had a standoff touching the board....reworking it all now. We will see.
