I have a black box servswitch wizard LP kvm switch 4 ports all have ps2 and vga inputs/outputs how ever i have and am using vga cables with male to male exchangers at the end, being that both ends are female, my monitor both has dvi and vga ports.

my problem is that my pc has a dvi out only, so i am using dvi out to vga in on kvm switch but (pc to kvm) my main source of video (kvm to monitor) is vga i have USB to PS2 adapter for my mouse and keyboard going to my kvm how ever i do not get any source coming from keyboard mouse and no video from monitor but i hear sound when my pc boots up (speakers are attached to pc) any help would be appreciated lol I feel defeated.

Many older kvm switches do not support higher resolutions. Set your output at 800 x600. Try that and if it works, work your way up to where it doesn't work anymore then you know what the max is that your kvm switch will handle. OR it is very possible that it will not work with a dvi to vga adapter. Most less expensive or older kvm's are finicky.
