Hi, I've just finished a rather unique build where I used a supermicro H8QME-2+ with four CPU's and 16gb of ram (its going to be a server). I booted the build and everything was great, I hear a single beep to indicate its working and the fans all started and after a little bit of time the CPU heatsinks got a little warm, However I still didn't have a video output, I have a vga cable connected to the motherboard and my monitor but it wont work, but when I do unplug the vga cable from either end the monitor awakens from power saving mode and indicates nothing is plugged in so it must know that there is a pc connected to it. Any ideas?

Yea its plugged into the vga slot, not the slightly greenish slot, what do you mean by replacing the battery?

oops, i didnt mean to make that thge solution, however no I did not see it working but the ebay page said it was in perfect working condition and has a 30 day warranty

I just took all the ram out and reinstalled it into the same slots but no dice, im going to check the manual to ensure its in the correct slots

I just tried it with two different monitors and I had no luck, I'm not sure what the problem could be

One possible cause. If you havent put it in a case, if you wriggle it is the VGA port on the mobo loose?

If it is, there maybe a dry joint. Look under the port on the mobo.

And when you plug the cable in it it's not making contact. If you change JPG1 did you put the jumper back in the same place?

If the mobo is in the case, did you put the standoffs in before you installed the mobo?
