No Video Output on Brand New Build

Hi everyone! Long time reader first time poster - I'm running into a problem and thought I'd turn it over to the forum's infinite wisdom

So here's what happened. I had a pc build finished up and it had a bit of a meltdown after 3 years or so, so I bought a new motherboard, new desktop processor, and new ram. Wanted to do an upgrade anyways, so bit the bullet and bought all that.

I've now got a Gigabyte B150N Phoenix Wifi (revision one?) motherboard, Intel core i5-6500, and corsair 16gb (2x8) DDR4 2400 mhz.

The motherboard only supports 2133 mhz, but I don't think that mismatch is my problem as it fires up, fans run, and the bios gives me the single beep on my speaker.

Long story short, I don't have any video output. The mobo has a DVI out and also an HDMI out. I'm currently hooked up with HDMI to a samsung tv (unfortunately my only "monitor" at the moment). I'm going to buy a DVI to HDMI cable after work to see if that makes a difference... but am I missing something here? I think I should have integrated graphics... but maybe I'm completely mistaken? Any reason why I would fire everything up for the first time and receive zero video output whatsoever? Already opened a ticket with Gigabyte, but predictably it's taking a long time to hear anything...

Solution
Hi, The tv might not support low resolutions, therefore you can try borrowing a monitor only for installing Windows and the graphics driver, and then you can use the tv,

Thank you for the suggestion and for weighing in. Not going to lie, I would love if the answer proves to be this easy. I'll borrow a monitor from work and see if that solves it. Thanks again!

Thank you! It was that simple. Now to get my blu ray drive to work... seems to also be on the fritz, but that's a small consideration compared to where I was two days ago haha. Thanks again!
