Noctua Fans are LOUD

I just got 4 new Noctua A14 (140mm) case fans for my Corsair 300R and the 2 on the side of the case are REALLY loud.

Are there any causes for this? I took the side off with the fans attached and there was no other cables interfering. Any ideas?

maybe! your fans are running at max speed due to "heat dissipated" from ur system....

tats y i cause noise....its normal....no need to worry abt

I was confused though, as 2 were completely silent, and two are REALLY loud. Much louder than I think they should be.

The two top fans are both connected to a Y cable into a motherboard header, and the side two are connected to another Y cable plugged into another motherboard header. I've tried switching cables round etc.

u can control the fans speed in BIOS.....if u want to lower the fan Noise....go to BIOS setup and reduce the Fan speed

or set the fan speed to auto....is best

Yeah, but I'm not sure the speed is the issue. They're both set to the same speeds, and the side ones are so much noisier.

it's nothing to worry....it's in side panel.....so....the sound s caused due to vibration of the fans

Everything's at stock speeds, and the computer crashes (black screens) from time to time, and I need to hold the power button and restart.

It crashed even more frequently without the 4 new fans.

The Problem is with your Processor Cooler.....try to re apply the thermal paste and place the CPU cooler properly over the Processor

It's a stock cooler, it had thermal paste pre-applied I believe. i7-4770k.

How do you know it's an issue with CPU cooling?

If the power supply is low crashes occur...and u have 760W power supply....it more than enough
If your Processor Exceeds 80c....i wil shut down automatically...this is to protect the "Processor" from over heating

so, i thought it might be the CPU cooler

Could it not be the graphics card overheating?

If it's not the Processor...then it might be "Graphic cards"

u have check one by one......thats why it is complicated to pin point the exact fault in the system...it has so many components 🙁
