Noctua NH D15 or Corsair Hydro Series H60 for overclocking i7 7700k

Noctua wins that battle.
Outperform the H60 on every single thing: Noice, performance, durability.

Only reason one should pick the H60 over the NH D15 is if you cant fit the Noctua in your case.

I have a D14 and it is amazing. Quiet and efficient. 10lbs of copper FTW!

you can go for the AIO cooler to but then you have to check the temp of your CPU everyday as we see daily 3-4 Posts Fail of AIO dead pumps etc but in case of AIR cooler even its underperforming like for 2-3'C still you can feel safe as nothing gonna happen to it

Read reviews. There are lots if AIOs.. some more reliable than others.. the H100i v2 is one of the most reliable and trustworthy ones.

Personally I don't really need to because I won't use one.

I stick with Air Cooling, been using it for 30 years and don't plan on changing.

Yup, that's what I am using.

I don't like noise.

I remember when PC's were so loud you could hear them 2 or 3 rooms away due to the loud fans, PSU's etc.

Before that everything was fanless/passive for the most part, you could put the PC in a cabinet. LOL 😀

Btw my first pc, a Pentium 133Mhz already had a cpu fan.. butnit wasnt that loud..

But before that my zx spectrum had none.. only that really loud load time from tapes..
