I'm about to buy a used Noctua NH-U12DX i4 cooler and I was just wondering if I can put it on a regular am4 mobo without any issue?
I already have an "am4 mounting kit" lying around; but do need to worry about anything else? No issues with the backplate or anything strange like that? This is an older Xeon cooler so I'm just double checking
According to reddit the case can fit nh-d15 so the size shouldn't matter:

I only have the heatsink and the fan, no accessories, but with the am4 mounting kit it should mount fine, right?
Case: Chieftec CI-01B nhd15
Mobo: MSI B450M Pro-VDH Max
Cooler: NH-U12DX i4
