Question Noctua Premium vs Redux? Go with another brand? Need a budget 80mm and 120mm fan.

I love Noctua's fans, but they can be expensive, and I need a good 80mm and 120mm fan to try to improve the cooling in my system without breaking the bank. I noticed that Noctua has these redux line of fans that are about 1/2 to 1/3rd the price of their standard "premium" fans. Are these recommended or is there something wrong with them at that price? Would there be any different brand one would recommend instead?

I would look at https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8X4YL2

All of their Redux fans are designed for static pressure. But it doesn't really matter that much if you use them where an airflow designed fan would make better sense.

By the way, something just occurred to me. I am very likely going to have the split two different sized fans per cable. Is it safe to do so since I would assume that they would run at different RPMs?

It would be helpful if you could list the make/model of all of your parts.

What parts exactly, the system? Or it's cooling?

Are you now having a cooling problem that needs to be fixed?

I am having random crashes and I can't narrow it down, cooling MIGHT be one of the causes and I want to rule it out. The system runs pretty hot as-is anyway so better cooling would help regardless.

Ah, I already posted about it in great detail in another topic, still have not figured it out yet:

Now, how in the world would I know to look there??

Your asked, "By the way, something just occurred to me. I am very likely going to have the split two different sized fans per cable. Is it safe to do so since I would assume that they would run at different RPMs? "

NOT a problem. The fan control system does NOT care what the fan speed is, even though we all talk about "fan speed control". It sends out a signal to the fan that amount to a "% of full speed, whatever that might be" instruction. And it adjusts that signal according to the TEMPERATURE measured at a sensor - in the case of case ventilation fans, normally a sensor on the mobo. It simply calls for more or less cooling as the temp changes. So yes, two DIFFERENT fans connected together by a Splitter to the same signals WILL operate a different speeds, and that does not matter at all.
