The biggest problem with Nokia and windows phones in general is they are available on a limited number of networks. I want the windows 8 version of the Nokia 710 (if they offer it) but I won't leave Virgin Mobile (yes, with that slow 3G) just to have a windows phone.

[citation][nom]Vladislaus[/nom]Choice between low-res and PenTile? I don't believe it was stated anywhere that the 920 had a PenTile display.[/citation]
Sorry, I meant in the AMOLED side of things.

I agree. I'm not a fan of the blunt corners on the 900 or 920. It's just too jarring for my tastes. I wish they'd come out with a high-end phone that has rounded corners, curved glass, and the polycarbonate body... and NO SHINY FINISH. Or maybe even an aluminum model of some kind. The colorful phones are cute... but some people want a phone built for an adult...

Oh, and an SD card slot is a must. Why would I want to play music from SkyDrive (and use my data plan), when I could have the music stored directly on my phone. Expandable storage is a must these days.

[citation][nom]farensabri[/nom]Aesthetically speaking I actually prefer 820's rounded corners instead of the 920's sharp corner with the rounded front bezel corners.[/citation]

The gray one is matte, as is apparently the black one. Both are good for people who think the color of their phone is indicative of anything. Aluminium require plastic caps so that the antennas can get a signal, I don't think there are any new phones that use aluminium extensively.

It is funny btw how these so-called tech sites never test the phone-qualities of the smartphones, ie. signal strength (stationary and high velocity ), call quality, etc.

[citation][nom]randomninjaatk[/nom]The resolution on the screen is higher then your iPhone with retina and it's a larger screen....Nokia Lumia 920: 4.5" Display 332 PPI vs Apple iPhone 4S 3.5" Display 326 PPI So the Nokia Lumia 920 has the superior display![/citation]

Actually, it's 335PPI. Learn how to calculate PPI kthx.

So first you come here complaining that that none of the phones presented had a retina display. When someone corrected your statement instead of accepting your blunder you attack this person of being unable of calculating a phone pixel density. Specially when his numbers check up. If the phone has a screen of exactly 4.5'' with a WXGA (1280 x 768) resolution then it has a pixel density about 331,7 PPI, hence 332 PPI. But if you think otherwise please post your calculations.

Thanks for defending me (never performed a calculation), but with the powers of the interwebz, I simply located the specs online via google and many news related sites 😉
