Non activation after hardware change

Hey all,

Windows 10 isnt activated any more. Changed my rig fully. Full new build bar the SSD with the OS on it and the HDD for storage.

When it says troubleshoot- simply cannot activate.

Im sure as hell not paying for it again. It was a windows 7 originally and then it upgraded to windows 10 (against my will) but hey.

Any suggestions?

Yes, that is what happens with all new hardware.
You should have done this before changing the hardware:

This links the OS license to a Microsoft account, rather than to specific hardware.

Your only recourse now is to call MS and go through the phone robot.
If that fails, call and talk to a human.

They may or may not allow reuse of that license with the new hardware. But they probably will.
