Non-ECC Memory on Asus Z10PE-D8 WS?

Hello everyone,

I have a question: Can a Asus Z10PE-D8 WS support Non-ECC Memory?

I'm asking because I'm assembling a workstation for graphics work with this board. Since ECC memory is a bit more expensive than regular one and I'm not going to take any real advantage of the Error Correction, I was wondering if the board could support "normal" Non-ECC sticks.

I've checked Asus's recommended lists for the board, and they only mentioned ECC on it. Is that a definitive list? Does anyone has experience with this sort of situations?

Thanks in advance!

Your mobo spec say -

"8 x DIMM, Max. 512GB, DDR4 2133/1866/1600/1333 MHz RDIMM, LR-DIMM, NVDIMM Memory
Quad Channel Memory Architecture
* Refer to www.asus.com for the Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists)."

Look at what they use in the QVL - http://www.asus.com/Commercial_Servers_Workstations/Z10PED8_WS/HelpDesk_QVL/

to see if they use any non-ECC ram. If not then I wouldn't.
