Question Non working game.

Hi
I have recently upgraded to Windows 11 and I'm very happy so far except that the one game my autistic son loves will not run, it called "star prospector" its run on every version of previous Windows it loads and try's to run but crashe's any help resolving this will be greatly appreciated.

Hey there,

Have you tried the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter? Right click on the desktop icon for the app, and select the Program compatibility option and follow the instructions. If it doesn't work try using the different options Win 7, Win 8 etc which is in the troubleshooter menu.

Hopefully that will get it working for you.

Yes I've tried every setting in the compatibility options I've tried updating graphics drivers all the other old games he loves work fine, well with a few minor adjustments and dll updates but not this game it is very old I'm quite technical myself but this has beaten me.
