Quick read in bold

I have a Func mechanical gaming keyboard with a red back light. Bought last year.

One day it started disconnecting and reconnecting after roughly 10 seconds. The same time it would take to connect if you literally pulled it out and plugged it back in. It happens mostly when I'm in game, playing Counterstrike. But has happened randomly when I've been watching Netflix or YouTube.

Now I've looked online and tried these solutions:

1) Going into power management settings and unchecking the box that allows windows to turn devices off to save power.
2) I've wiggled the cable and usb plug to try and recreate the fault. Checking if it's a faulty wire or connection.
3) Looking at the power draw in each USB hub, making sure it doesn't exceed the limit.
4) Trying different USB ports
5) Updating drivers
6) I've looked in Device manager and am surprised to see 17 individual devices under "Human Interface Device" only one of them having a recognizable name of Death adder (my mouse). The rest are all "HID compliant human interface device" or "USB input device... Under the keyboard section there is 4 "HID keyboard device" and "Razer death adder chroma".

The Razer isn't a keyboard so why is it listed here?

Disabling these devices either makes no change, or disables my keyboard or mouse. It's impossible to tell which unnamed device is which with the exception of my mouse.

The problem started to occur after I bought a new mouse. Razer Deathadder Chroma. And installed the synapse 2.0 software. I suspected this was the problem.

I somewhat confirmed my suspicions when I wiped my computer and did a fresh install of Windows 7. I used my computer for a full day, with no keyboard disconnection. Then I installed the synapse software to adjust the DPI settings on my mouse...

First Counterstrike game I played, my keyboard disconnected again.

I cannot be certain, but I believe it happens mostly during the first 5-10 minutes of starting a game.

Thanks for reading this wall of text.
