Noob computer build need help

Please tell me if this gaming computer build will work
Case: Fractal design arc XL
Motherboard: Asus P8 Z77-VLGA
CPU: Intel core i7 3770K
Memory: G. Skill Rip Jaws 8GB
Video Card: Radon R9 290(non x)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 212 EVO
Storage: Western Digital AV-GP 3TB
My budget is $1500 right now I'm at $1311 so if something doesn't work with something just please refer me to something that will thank you

1500? I dont know your exact needs or if your dealing with large files or not.. But 1TB is MORE THAN PLENTY lol, I have maybe 6 or 7 steam games each over 4gb on there own a a couple are 10+ gb. I also have windows and all my drivers and everything i use on a 1tb hd and still have well over 700GB left. 1tb is plenty. Save money on storage get a 1tb and a 250gb ssd or something. and while your on it. Get a Z87 motherboard too (dont know if they make it for Sandy bridge or Ivy bridge or what the 3770K is.. Im an AMD person never got into intel because i cant afford it)

Also. Get a better cooler to if you got 1500.. I dont know if thats actually how much you have or if your trying to stay below.. All im saying is if you are looking to spend it all. Spend it.

What exactly are you wanting to know? Do you want to be sure that all of the parts you have chosen are compatible? If that's the case then I don't notice anything that would give you a problem.
There is no mention of a power supply. Choosing the right power supply is critical to any build. Here are a couple of suggestions.....

I vote completely for getting a SSD and reducing storage for your HDD to 1TB. That's the setup I have now and it's fantastic... everything is SO fast.

Personally, this is what I would get. It's nice and upgradable (great PSU, case and cooler), and a great card. The i5 is all that you'll need for gaming and the 780 should do you quite well. I went with a 780 because there still isn't any custom coolers for 290s 🙁
