Noob question read pls ^-^

I have my case and power supplie which is a Cooler Master Extreme 2 625w
The thing is that i will be buying the Crosshair V Formula-Z next week but i noticed something..
It has power phase of 8+2+2
So i need my 8 pin power connector PLUS another 4 pin power connector that i dont have...
So do u think it would be a problem?
I was wondering if i can leave the 4 pin connector empty and still being able to use the mother normally ? and if i ever want to overclock in the future it would be safe?

2+2 = 4... 😀

So you have the correct motherboard power connectors. Do not worry.

BUT that PSU is not one I would OC much on, they are not known for stability and reliability.

True ik but if i ever do some overclocking it will be something "soft" .
Ehm anyways i do not have all the power connectors , take a look at the board it has 8 pin on the top left and 4 pin top right and the PSU has only 4+4 =8 pin connector and the rest pcie

That one top right 4-pin is redundant, you can run without it no issues.

Yeah should be fine with a mild OC.
