NoobQuestion: RAM frequency limited?

NOTE: It's my first time building a PC and I know nothing about RAM.

So I recently just built my new PC. I use a GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-UD5 TH mobo, with 2x8GB (16GB) 3200MHz Corsair LPX Vengeance RAM. When I'm in the BIOS it shows that my RAM is running at 2133MHz, while my RAM is 3200MHz, is it a limitation from my mobo, or do I have to change anything in the settings?

You'll want to enable that, then check the frequency of your RAM after a reboot.

Thanks. It is now running at 3200MHz but will it do any harm to my PC and am I taking any risk?

No, according to the Gigabyte specs for the MB it will support up to DDR4 3800 (OC) memory.

Do you have the latest BIOS version installed? F4 is the latest non beta version.
