What's the normal operating temperature for a HDD? It's not clear from the specification page.

Based upon some studies by Google and Backblaze, I would say 25-45C, above or below that Google found higher failure rates. Around 40C is ideal.

The range for your link of 0-60C is ambient, not drive temperature.

The maximum drive operating temperature is a wet bulb temperature of 30C (so 40C if the humidity is 50% or 50C with 20% humidity).
