Normal internet speed, but ping above 1000

Hey Everyone,

I've been facing this problem since last month,

My Internet speed is normal,

But when it comes to Gaming.. I face a lot of network lags and it's really annoying.

Games:-

*Counter Strike : Global Offensive
*PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG)

I tried contacting my Network Providers, they said "We don't see any problem.. The Internet speed is good enough"

This ping issue is really frustrating.. I really don't know what's wrong.. I tried other networks.. Great speed.. But the ping is above 1000

I really need help.

What do speedtest sites say the ping time is. Make sure you test on ethernet it is not uncommon to get high ping times on wifi

I have Hotspot 4G device.. I connect it to my PC via USB Cable

4G is still wireless it is somewhat worse than wifi because you have no control at all over it. Mobile broadband if you can get a LTE connection will be "ok" for some games but it too has issues. Other forms of 4G or 3G data connections tend to have lots more latency and lots of random spikes and work poorly for most games.

Pretty much you might get it to work in the middle of the night when fewer people are competing for the cell towers.

It shows LTE in the status (The site with 192.168.xx)

The thing is.. I never had an issue like this before.. I used to play while streaming.. Now all of a sudden.. Nothing works for me 🙁

That is the problem it changes all the time. I have a app that shows the signal levels and cell tower I connect to. I can be sitting in my house and it will change cell towers to a worse one for no reason at all.

Bottom line there is nothing you can do the ISP does what they want
