[SOLVED] Normal Temps for Ryzen 9 5900x

Curious question. Just got a ryzen 9 5900x and the temps are alittle hotter then i am use to. I had a intel 7 7700k and the idle temps were like 29 degrees celsius and like 70 while gaming. Well the ryzen 9 5900x is running at like 40 idle and around 80 while gaming. I am not sure if that is normal or should i try and repaste my cooler. The cooler i have is a corsair h100i elite.

It is normal. Start worrying when it hits 90's

Ideal temps are 10-15C above ambient at idle and 70-75C under load.
The 5900X has a tjmax of 90C so your temps are within spec.

Ok I was curious because when i am using just 25 percent load it jumps up to like 70+ degrees Celsius. I never had one run this hot. It is just shocking to me. You would think with a water cooler it wouldnt be that hot.
