What I always wanted my AV program running, a crypto miner while PC is idle.
It may only be in certain versions of their products, I don't have full info

I wish it was a joke but hey, its on their website - https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v138388461

so its opt in now, who wants to bet they change that to opt out at some stage.
they get 15% commission on any crypto mined, now how many users have this or Avast installed exactly? all that free money just sitting there not earned.

Appears it could just be the 360 suite - https://www.pcgamer.com/au/norton-installs-an-ethereum-crypto-miner-with-its-360-security-suite/

I don’t use any of it nor will I ever. And I’m really getting cheesed off with Microsoft and all the spying that they do as well so I will probably be moving my daily driver over to Linux soon. Tired of the crap
