Hello. I recently shifted a lot of files from my hard drive to my phone because I had to format that drive to merge it with the C drive. All happened successfully. BUT, when I tried to copy all my files back from phone to computer, I'm not able to! I get a "Access is denied" error or "error copying files/folders". What should I do? Please help!!!

Solution
Can you 'blue-tooth' the files to your computer?

You installed the Samsung software after you reinstalled Windows, didn't you?

If you right-click on one of the files you want to copy and select 'Properties', is there a 'Security' tab that you can click on?

If so, can you take ownership of it by pressing 'Advanced', then 'Owner', click on edit, choose your username and 'Apply'.

If you didn't get an error, then try to copy the file to your computer.

If that works, take ownership of the entire folder that contains the data you want but don't forget to tick the 'Include Inheritable Permissions ...' check-box at the bottom of the 'Owner' edit screen.

Any help?

I have a samsung galaxy s2 gt i9100 international version. and i had saved the files on the internal storage (16 GB). I am trying to get them back by connecting the phone to comp, entering the phone storage on my computer, i see all my files here. I right click on the mouse, hit copy and try to paste it in my C drive (the only drive on my comp) Am I doing anything wrong?

I am running windows 7 ultimate version.. what more info you need?

Dont transfer more than 2 or 4 GB at once, iforget theres like a limit with sd cards.
can you plug a USB drive in at the same time, copy from the phone to the USB drive, then unplug phone, and copy from USB drive to computer.

no, i am not transferring that big files, it is just around 100 - 200 mb and there's larger files also. and i just tried what you said, this is what it says, "The system cannot find the file specified."
