Not able to use MSI Gaming App with graphics card

Hello friends, I purchased a MSI 980 Ti from Newegg earlier this month, I just started to try overclocking it, but my MSI Gaming APP doesn't seem to work. No matter what mode I click, nothing happens, everything else still works, such as the snowflake icon or display mode.

Also, I seems to not be able to run games such as GTA 5 on ultra settings, which is very disappointing since this card should be good enough for that.

Does your card msi gaming edition or not? Probably better if you just use msi after burner instead. After burner have much more useful function built in.
