Not enough wattage broke my gpu?

I upgraded my CPU and realized I needed more power because it was crashing. Soon my graphics card stopped powering on and my pc shut off within a few seconds of turning on.. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438025 that is my old psu. Is there any way that my gpu was damaged... I ordered a new psu with 100 more watts but I'm super nervous because my graphics card was very expensive

i got a new cpu and i didnt know it needed more wattage. so i ran into with 60 watts below what i needed. it crashed and each time it had less time.
i thought it was the cpu fan overheating

The problem is likely due to your motherboard and cpu not being compatible. That board was not designed to accommodate a 220w cpu. Very few boards can run a 220w cpu and even then they can have stability issues.

It's unlikely this was the problem. I'd more strongly suspect your motherboard, which was not made to handle this CPU. I'd return the CPU if you still can; that was a poor purchase decision. The B1s PSU line wasn't very good, but a 750W should've been able to handle it -- manufacturers are very conservative with the wattage requirements because of how much literal garbage is out there.
