Not finding xp previous version

Hello,
i am trying to install windows xp service pack 2 .when i boot with xp cd its searching fpr wondows previous version and its not completed

SP2 and SP3 are executable files available at MS Download website. Installation guide is here.

SP2 is downloadable here.

SP3 is downloadable here.

You do not need to use the XP installation CD to install them.
