I'm a first timer here so be nice :)

Basically i have a EVGA x58 FTW3, I7 960, 6GB RAM and SLI GTX285.

I have successfully OC'd it but once i restart the pc it will double boot then revert back to the stock settings. If i then go back into the BIOS, apply my starting settings for overclocking (150x20. 1.25v cpu ect, Profile 1) save them (which causes the pc to reboot) then go back into the BIOS and set my OC settings (190x20. 1.25v cpu etc, profile 2) wait for the reboot and then it will start up fine again.

if after the double boot i put my OC settings (profile 2) straight in it will just keep double booting till i put the (150x20, profile 1) in then go back to the 190x20. I want to see how far i can push this rig but as it stands a stable OC tested for hours on OCCT wont load on my next boot.

Please help as i have no idea where to go with this anymore.

settings are

190BCLK
x20 Multiplier

VCORE 1.25
DIMM Volt 1.65v
QPI PLL Vcore 1.10
CPU PLL Vcore 1.8
IOH VCore 1.1
CPU VTT Voltage 1.25

I am writing this from the 190X20 OC. However as always once i turn it off i will be back to default clock

You have been adjusting the BCLK ( Base Clock ). @ 190 with a Multiplier of 20, that is about 3.8 Ghz. You can aboout the same thing by leaving the BCLK at 150 and setting the multiplier from 20 to 25. The voltage looks fine from what I can see. Just make sure you have a good cooler as it wil Blue screen if it gets too warm. Also, make sure the QPI is at 6.4 and not 4.6.
