I am running a Ryzen 3600 on my [ASRock] x470 Taichi motherboard and I have been getting WHEA Windows 10 errors 1-2 times per day. I was recently using the Asus Tuf Gaming x570 motherboard and didn't get any WHEA errors until I switched to the Taichi motherboard. I did also switch to different RAM as well when I switched to the Taichi board. However, the RAM is supported by G.Skills memory QVL.
I will run memtest86 when I get a chance to make sure the memory is okay.
I suspect that this has something to do with a bios issue that is affecting the memory and causing stability issues. Other x470 Taichi owners with a Ryzen 3000 series cpu have experienced the same thing and for some, running their memory at a lower than rated speed fixed things for them. Some users recommended changing the FCLK value to less than 1533. I do need to update to the latest bios as well which would be 3.60 for this board?.
This is the part of building a new PC I don't enjoy.
