I'm having a lot of problems with my computer being slow. When i turn it on, it takes forever or not at all to get past the first start screen with the F shortcuts. But now heres the interesting thing. when i unplug my keyboard it starts up normally. Anyone know why this could be? it's the same problem no matter what keyboard i use and the keyboards work fine on other computers.

Quick boot is already enabled and then only other thing I see is 'wait for F1 if error' but that is disabled boot order is fine too. But this MB is getting a tad old now. So just wondering if it might just be on its way out

A slow boot sequence, could be a tell-tale sign that your motherboard is experiencing some electrical, trace, component, hiccup that's causing to boot more slowly, while it checks through all of its POST sequence. However, it's not dead yet. If the only actual behavior it is exhibiting is a little bit of slowness, booting up, it might make sense to just live with that handicap for now, if the system performs as expected otherwise...

Have you stressed the CPU and GPU, separately and together, to test the system for instability? I'm thinking like Prime95 and Furmark.
