So I built a new system with the parts below, and I checked CPUz after adjusting the voltage in the bios to 1.5v (recommended specs) and I can't help to think somethings not right with the timings. I left all settings on auto for the RAM but the voltage. If somethings not right I'm not 100% sure where to be changing it in the bios either since there are soooo many settings for RAM.

ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-4GBRL

and a Phenom II x4 955 CPU

so.. the recommended settings on the specs sheet for the RAM say:
Cas Latency 9
Timing 9-9-9-24

CPUz reports:
DRAM freq 401.8

Cas Latency (CL) 6
RAS # to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 6
RAS # Precharge (tRP) 6
Cycle Time (tRAS) 15
Bank Cycle Time (tRC) 20

Command Rate (CR) 1t

And I don't know much about RAM but logically thinking 6-6-15-20 does not match to 9-9-9-24 and the Cas Latency doesn't match either.

Whats going on? I read some reviews saying this board needs manually adjustment for the RAM so now I'm worried, plus there was a few system crashes within the first few hours of usage, according to windows 7 logs it was something on the north bridge which makes me wonder even more.
Don't want to fry someones brand new build.

Thanks for reading.
