So i'm getting around 30 frames with ULTRA Shaders and i got optifine and i'm running on max settings i got gtx 1070 and i5 6660k OC 4.4ghz. Now i see people getting around 60 frames with basically the same specs. How is that possible? do i need an i7 6700k? then again everything is on Extreme 😛 well with the shaders anyways. My shaders pack is called Chocapic13 Extreme and my texture pack is lithos core.

Hi, the thing is, Minecraft has a limit of maximum amount of RAM it can use and it is set at about 1-2GB.
No, you don't need a stronger CPU, this is a high-end build and the solution is hidden somewhere in the software.

How to solve it?
Go to google and find out "how to allocate more memory for minecraft?" - you will find a config or .txt file and then edit a specific line- change max allowed RAM number as high as you have RAM installed on your computer, for example, if you have 8GB, make that number 8192, if you have 16GB RAM, well, 10000 should be enough for that game 😀

Also, if you're using a specific launcher for that game, go to the settings of the launcher and you should find something with RAM allocation in the settings, which...
