Not sure if this is where to go for this problem...

So I finally got my new graphics card back.. (Here are my specs)

Xeon 1231V3 3.4GHz
Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4GB
8GB 1833 Ram
1TB 7200 WD HDD
120GB Kingston SDD

When I first got this card it was working very well. I play the game Smite quite a lot and the frames are always staying in the range of 130-150, usually closer to the 150. I was having concerns about my processor temp which never goes above 55c~ under load and never went over 60 when using PRIME95 over night. (This was after applying new thermal compound. I also used FurMark 1080p GPU stress test and it never went above 60c with about 49 FPS.

So I started playing a new game called Ark: Survival Evolved with generally everything on medium settings. The other day the game crashed and an error through AMD came up saying the Video Driver had crashed and was reset. After this happened my frames in Smite never get better than 100 and when I play Ark the game is really choppy. (similar to connection issues but wasn't happening this badly before.)

Does anyone have any idea about what to do in regards of what happened to cause the driver crash? Any idea on maybe how to do a hard reset on the driver so I can... reset it? Lol

Edit : Also, my ping has always been a decent 40-70 average for both games.

Both of those temperatures are safe.

Try:
1. Downloading CPUZ & GPUZ: Make sure everything is ok
2. Download MSI Kombustor, Aida64.
3. Stress test both the GPU & CPU, see if there is any throttling or problems.

What am I specifically looking for in these programs? I'm a for sure tech nub.

If the CPU is having any issues when stress testing on Aida64 will give you a warning sign or something of that sort.
For CPUZ & GPUZ take a screenshot and upload it here.
When stress testing with MSI Kombustor watch the temperatures. Also check the GPU usage, power consumption and other graphs that may show indications of a faulty GPU or misconfigured GPU thorough MSI Afterburner.

You can download MSI Afterburner.

It's and EVGA G2 1000W Gold Plus

I've been running AIDA 64 for about an hour with no issues I believe.
