As a fellow pc gamer myself. I'm quite late to the party regarding display and high refresh rate. Currently in the middle of my rebuild. And this is my current monitor
It's a 75hz monitor. And after seeing quite alot of videos regarding high refresh rate. I decided to look for one to upgrade. And finally narrow down to these 2 choices.

The former is 1080p while latter is 1440p.
However. Since i don't upgrade my pc as often anymore probably in another 5-6 years at least i'm not sure which one to get. And i simply don't want to spend money on features that eventually i won't be using much. I gonna be using it mainly for gaming in racing.. open world action RPG and some shooter and football(soccer).
These will be my pc specs after my rebuild:
Ryzen 7 5700x
Klevv bolt 2x8gb ddr4 3000mhz
CoolerMaster hyper 212 led turbo
Asrock b450m pro4
Xfx merc 310 rx 7900 xt black
FSP hydro gt pro atx 3.0 1000w psu
Fractal design arc mini r2
Advice is appreciated.
