Notebook cpu Frequency falls

Hey!


My problem is, I installed all the drivers what needed, and turned off energy saving at intel control center + on energy saving functions in control panel. BIOS is 1.18version and its not enable modify anything. Not even the rams or the Volts, nor the Cpu nor turbo boost.

But it seems there is an energy saving option missing becasue if I run a game it is bouncing from 130-30-130-30-130-30 it is the method no more no less, bouncing in every 2 seconds. Turbo boost monitor graph is the same once 3.0Ghz turbo boost the other second its dopped to 700 mhz Energy Saver. This happens when i start a game , or just googleing. The cpu frequency is dropping every second as the Volts too. And when its on 700 mhz its draw this little green leaf.
How to turn of the whole energy saving function on the laptop, to avoid these Mhz bounces

Laptop: Acer travelmate 5760G
cpu: i5 2520M

Have u tried going to Control Panel - Power Options - (Click Show additional plans) - Choose "High Performance" instead of "Power Saver" or "Balanced". 'cause there may be conflicts since u turned power saving options off in the Intel control center.

Go detail on High Performance Settings. On the right of "High Performance" there is a "change settings", click it and on the left bottom there is a "change advanced power settings", In the new dialog box, find "processor power management and tweak minimum/maximum processor state, no matter on battery or plugged in, to 100% and choose cooling policy "active" instead of passive.

Another question, is your laptop turned burning hot while playing games? Do u have a cooling pad under your laptop?

I did this about a week ago, all on 100% and active cooling.

Yes after 30 minutes its starts burning but the cpu frequency is still falling down then up. I have cooling pad but its really doesn't worth anything.

That's the point. There probably be an engineering controller or senser (U may never found it in BIOS) to control the freq and the voltage. U have mentioned burning hot, which is exactly why the freq and the voltage drop. I wonder the atmosphere temperature and the humidity may be the cause, since laptop cooling is shit and the even the weather temp affects the cooling. Using a laptop in a room with air-conditioner may solve this problem. Do u monitor the temp of your laptop (e.g CPU and GPU temp)

Well , i dont see the connection between my room and the frequency drops. But i tried it outside of the house and it was the same. This happens when i turn lapton on for 6 hours, and when just start it 1 minute ago.

IF i just take my laptop after i wake up , and start it since 8 hours of rest it is still doing the same thing as if i play on it for 6 hours , drops of frequency

Did u feel dragged when playing games? And is your laptop slow down so much while using. And plz measure the temp of your CPU by monitor software while playing games, the temp is the vital cause of the freq dropping.

Whatever option i Chose it is doing this // And the main problem is , this happen under any game. The computer think from itself that it clever enought to decide what need or what doesn't the high performance, even i made it 100% all the time. I want 3 GHz every time, when im afk too.

Oh here it is, no CPU can handle such high freq for a long time. Especially the 3.0ghz isn't its own freq, it is oc'ed from 2.4ghz to this state, so u don't count on it lasting long. I think u'r a bit obsessive-compulsive. If u don't feel the computer slowing down, there is no significant problem. If u are bothered by the control center window and the gadget window just close them, don't be fooled by these non-sense. Your laptop is fine
