Question Notebook keeps switching between charging and not charging ?

Hello guys, my notebook out of nowhere started doing this behaviour.
Things that I've tried:
1. A different charger (no difference in behaviour)
2. The original battery of the notebook (this battery doesn't hold any charge anymore so it just turns off when charging switches off) (the replacement battery worked fine for over a year).

Do you have any other ideas what could be the culprit, please?

1| What is the make and model of the laptop you're working with? An SKU to the laptop would help us two fold.
2| How old is the laptop's original battery at this moment of time?
3| Are you using a genuine replacement part for your laptop's battery?

1: ACER ASPIRE V3-571G
2. the original battery that was replaced is from 2012
3. genuine replacement part, exact same specs and model. Worked fine after replacing the original one (a year minimum, can't remember when exactly did I replace it)
