Notebook to hd tv hdmi audio problem

Have you tried updating the ATI drivers?

Is HDMI audio enabled in the bios? (if there is a setting)

Theres no problems with any device in Device manager? Usually theres 2 entries in device manager for ati high definition... that need to be enabled/working.

Yes I have updated the ati drivers and there's not a setting in the bios to enable the hdmi audio.

But I have an unknown device in the device manager and I can't find his driver.

And I haven't 2 entries for the ati high definition, but only one.

ok the solution is to install realtek ati audio high defnition driver

Now it works

... now I must uninstall original AMD ATI driver?

Or you can just disable it in Device manager in case you need it for something else.

Anyway I'm glad you got it working!
