OK just finished installing GTA 5, when i click the launcher for either multiplayer or single player, the splash screen appears briefly followed by the mouse loading something for 5 seconds and then nothing happens. tried running in administrator mode to no avail. also checked it wasn't already running in process's. I am thoroughly disappointed with this and angered considering that rockstar have had almost 2 years to get this right. Anyone Know of a fix.

Gpu is a amd R9 280.

Right turns out some advanced option in my bullguard was preventing gta from working, you have disable "allow bullguard to protect its compoments against termination"
Well, your system should be able to run it. If you've updated your drivers, the only other things I can think of is virus/malware related or maybe you have too many other processes running in the back ground.

Run virus and anti-malware scans. If you've got a ton of applications running in the background (how many icons next to the clock in the task bar?) shut all the ones you don't need down before trying to game.

If you can, take a screen shot of Task Manager's Performance Tab and post it here.

Again, I don't know anything about the game, itself. I expect Launcher.exe should start up the file manager to see if there are any updates that need to be downloaded and should be your starting point for getting into the game. Once it verifies that all the files are up to date, it probably executes, PlayGTAV.exe to actually initiate the game.

If the game comes with a manual, I would read through that to verify that's what is supposed to happen.
