The process USAFRet outlined earlier in the thread is pretty much the same as the video, albeit his written instructions contain a few extra belts-and-braces considerations.

It's solid stuff.

Tbh, it looks like the Samsung tool uses a very similar set of steps as Macrium Reflect. I'd honestly prefer something more vendor agnostic, like Reflect, but the basics of what you'll be doing are the same.

Guess it all depends if you prefer written steps or a video (or both, idk).

Also, seems like the steps outlined in that video would be very similar even if using the Samsung app - just a slightly different UI.

In terms of the process you'll go through, what you're doing, and what each step is called, it should be the same regardless of which app you use. The steps you'll need to do, and what they're called, are not tied to any vendor. A boot partition is called a boot partition regardless of who makes the drive :)

Anyway, its actually a really simple process to clone a boot drive, so don't worry. Just make sure you follow one of those sets of instructions properly.
