Question is will the XFX Radeon HD 7950 fit in as I heard it's pretty tight for larger cards. Also in the price range £216 is it the absolute best I can get for gaming? I looked around abit and it appears so. (I want to play on ultra most games if possible).

Also I've quite keen on the look of the MSI mobo's so any suggestions in a similar price range will be appreciated. Opinions and suggestions please! Is this build the best I could make for £600?

The Coolermaster 650W GX comes with the case. I know it's a little heavy but the case alone will cost atleast 70-75 so it's worth it for 40 imo.

XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply was the original PSU suggested. Think it's worth buying that and the case seperate?

Remember, the PSU is one of the most important (cheap) components in the system. It powers everything and if it goes, it can take everything with it. That PSU you have chosen is a tier 4 PSU..check it here.

Whats your opinion? Any small changes to improve it? And do you think it will be able to handle the newer games on high settings?

It should game really nice...Crysis 3 will hurt it, but that is going to hurt everything. I have two 660's in SLI, and the beta tore them up..they can out perform a 7970...but crysis 3 is going to eat GPU's. But all other games it should be fine.

Diamond thanks you 2 ^^ Been a great help. I've now ordered the case and the XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V.

I think I know the answer but just want to double check. Is the XFX Radeon HD 7950 the absolute best I can get at like £220 mark. Pretty sure it is and will handle everything I want (Can't afford the 7970 and if I could would I really notice a massive difference in the current selection of games?). Just want confirmation before I press buy! Thanks again.

The 7950 is like right between the 670 and 680. I'm more of a Nvida fan, so if you like AMD, the 7950 is an excellent card...only 1 (single GPU) card better really and that's the 7970, if you want to spring for the extra money go for it. But I think you will be happy.

Sorry to be a pain but I've bought everything except the mobo. Very undecided. I'm looking at the MSI Z77A-G45 (I like the aesthetics admittedly) and its down to that vs the suggested ASRock H77 Pro4.

Please don't bump. It's a good way to get your thread closed prematurely. Do you have either a retail copy of windows or an unused oem copy?

I've bought Windows 8. Only things left to buy are the mobo and I'm thinking an SSD to load it onto.

either board will work. The z77 really isn't needed with a locked processor, but you could always upgrade it later. SSD's are really nice to have. They will boot the PC really fast and give an all around nice PC experience. Outside of loading maps fast, it really won't help in games though.
