You assume that I have any actual respect for those folks :) I wont go out of my way to offend but I don't really give a crap if I do by accident. I enjoy the giving and receiving of knowledge here on this board, but I don't actually know you people..just words on a screen ya know?

This medium by it's nature lends itself to an excessive amount of semantic noise. Statments can be misinterpreted as rude even when followed by a :) It's somewhat futile to try to be 100% polite here...just speak your mind, put a :) down and cross your fingers.

for a 15 years old guy, you are on the right way...

but ....

you can't replace "dozen years of experience" because you are a comp. "addict".

whatever are the technology & in particular the informatics technology.

why ?

very simple

new technology sit on previous technology.

if you know you don't know, the way could be more easy.

Hey, I wasn't referring to myself specificly, I was referring to all 15-year-olds: A genius 15-year-old can easily do the same work any adult can. I was merely saying that looking at age as an aspect for knowledge and to a lesser extent, wisdom is very backward thinking. Wisdom still comes with age, but also comes with reasoning, and with knowledge freely available to people of any age, why can you not learn from others' experiences?

do you know what is experience ?
have a look on, think about & call me back.

no offense.

Yes, experience is learning through hands-on work. I don't see your point. Why can't you learn from other's experiences? Here's an example:

I found out that fire is hot and can burn my skin. I relay that information to my son, for example. Now my son doesn't have to touch the fire to actually know it's dangerous.

That's also how progress works and how computer technologies develop. We learn from others' experiences and research and time. Each passing generation learns from the previous through verbal, and textual communication. You learn things from your parents based on their experiences. Assuming you heed to their advice, you do not need to relive the experiences to know the consequences.

In any case, this is turning out to be a very interesting conversation, although slightly offtopic.

but we speak about informatics & youth ...
but maybe i misunderstood something...

My two cents.

I hardly ever back up AMD_Man and I can understand Chamrajnagar for saying what he did. I was ready to come in and attack Smilin, for saying (eww...puke) to Win98se, but I was afraid I might get my butt whipped. I do understand Win98se sucks, but I like to use it for gaming.

I would agree with AMD_Man that eww...puke would be a calling called. Now if anybody cares that is a different story.

Jiffy, you're probably the only person other than Chamrajnagar who'd agree with that. Sure, we get in arguement over chipsets (of all things) but considering you're also around my age (correct?), don't you get offended by that? I don't disrupt discussions and I always help people. I don't like VIA but that's my personal opinon, I don't impose my opinion on others, but you do. When I say that the IWill XP333 is a good motherboard, you post a counter thread saying that one should not bash VIA. I try to help others make informed decisions and yet you bash me?

Hmmm I thought I was backing you up for a change and this is the thanks I get. hehe

I don't agree with Chamrajnagar slamming you so hard, since I agreed with what you said, but at the same time you will post VIA sucks, so what are you doing correcting people when you do the same thing? At the same time I can understand him, since you and me have gone a few rounds.
You also promoted the IWill as the best mobo, the greatest thing since live its self or something similar that you had said. So sure I step in, you were asking for it, plus I had revenge in my eyes, for the times you slammed me. We would kiss and make up, but you turn around and slam me a gain. So your sorrys don't mean nothing. It turns out the IWill board you promoted so much seems to have quit a few issues and when I get the mobo back I hope it will boot and be stable. By the way I'm 35

These issues are merely flaws in that particular motherboard you had not the entire series/chipset. I don't post VIA sucks, I said many times that VIA has issues. The KT266A is the best VIA chipset, but the rest are plagued by bugs. That is a hard fact, not an opinion. I don't slam you, you slam me. Anything I say, you counter with VIA praising. A chipset is just a chipset, nothing more, nothing less. Should we really be arguing over a piece silicon? Of course not! That's quite immature, on my part as well as yours. Let's just agree to disagree, ok? There's nothing wrong with that. Flamethrower and Matisaro disagree with me on some things but they don't hate me because we've agreed to disagree and we're fine with that.

You did post VIA SUX!

If only you would practice what you preach.
Maybe I wasn't to clear, but I was trying to back you, and you bite the hand that was feeding you. Just remember we sleep in the bed that we make, and it's best to accept anything that we cause.

I did? I can't remember, but I'll take your word for it. Sorry. I promise to post more objectively in the future. That's been my goal since I joined the community.

I do, for the most part, but I'm only human.

I didn't realize that, thanks.
