NTL Broadband setup

Hi all, i'm new to this wireless networking and i need some help in deciding what to buy..my main aim is to connect my PC (connected to NTL broadband)to my daughters PC located in another room so that we can share files, but above all, so that we can share the internet connection..how easy is this to do and am i restricted in what i can buy because i'm subscribed to NTL broadband?....can aynone give me some advise please

not familiar with NTL, but normally with most broadband you would just get yourself a wireless router.

how far away is the other room and is that ntl in the uk?
