i recently upgraded from win7 ultimate to win10 pro 21h1. i randomly get bsods. i've updated all drivers. I downloaded bluescreen view and can see on the latest crash. Atleast on win7 you didnt have to restart your pc with a bsod. its a pain of no way to turn it off. random as well. so far i've had 4 crashes. think ive fixed a previous one for ndu.sys by downloading a clean one from a website.

the problem i had with this was it cause the vertical scroll/zooming to mess up so i installed intellipoint to solve this.

you could try removing the intellipoint drivers and use these - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au...download-f5b10905-7887-eedb-2f1c-d0737a36a3b2 but this might be what you have now.

Your mouse is described as Microsoft USB Dual receiver Mouse (Mouse & Keyboard Centre) in your PC.

I didn't notice it was wireless, I mean, you said it just now but I noticed because I can see what hardware you have via that report.

Do you have a spare cheap mouse you can use to see if its the mouse to blame? Since it was playing up before with MS drivers, the ipoint drivers are the most consistent thing crashing on your PC. Note: the crashes in Windows Error Reporting might be one off errors and the action worked fine the next time but patterns are patterns. Ipoint.exe crashes an awful lot.

All your USB is linked, so the problem caused by one could make another play up. The Dongle might be fine, I can't really tell as USB bsod doesn't show me anything that I can tie directly to a USB device.

BTW, if you replaced WIFI adapter with that newer one, it should have BT as well. Your drivers are from 2012 so probably aren't any newer for it.

cant seem to find the intellipoint program to uninstall it. i didnt have the mouse keyboard centre software before. i just installed it.

under mouse on control panel the inteli section seems to have disappeared. gives a link to mouse/keyboard centre.

says location on logitech g hub virtual mouse.
unusual for speakers to have mouse but who knows why it needs it. MY logitech kb had mouse controls so it might be used for something obscure on speakers.

its possible the new drivers removed the old ones in their install process or told PC to use them instead of the others.

The only spot that shows the ipoint.exe is in System Information (search for it in windows)
in the left column choose Software Environment/Windows Error Reporting

Now the right column, make it big enough that you can see the details column
try not to click date field as it sorts it weird
ipoint.exe appear in the application error type which should be at the top
that is where all the ipoint errors show. and will if it still happens.

Are you having any problems now?

Looking in event viewer will always reveal errors. Most of them are one offs, and may have worked every other time.

turning this off might help with errors or any ill effect they might have - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html
not had a crash since the 31/7. previous one before that was 10 days before that. so its not frequent but will have to wait and see. if intellipoint was the cause. csr application has failed loads but theres no new software for it. ive left the BT unplug unless i need to use it with wireless headphones

Just ignore event viewer unless you have problems. Microsoft actually reduced many of the events just down to warnings in there as people would look and see all these errors and think they had a problem when really PC is fine. I don't look in there unless I am doing it to help someone else.

Might help to run the windows update troubleshooter, I see one part of it that crashed a few times recently
the troubleshooter is in Settings/update & security/Troubleshoot
click Additional Troubleshooters
it might be in top section under Get Up & Running

it maybe bluescreen diagnostics.
so i can search for blue screen trouble shoot but not run it. the list i have seems to be less compared to others on the internet. i remember doing a check for all available troubleshoots and didnt have some other users had. definitely had no bluescreen troubleshooting

i get an error occurred while troubleshooting for bluescreen diagnostics 0x80070057 bluescreendiagnostics

tried everything previously to fix this. dism/sfc

Microsoft use that code for 2 different errors. I wish they wouldn't but it can be a storage error or it is a Windows Update error. I suspect you have 2nd
These fixes include registry changes, I would backup registry before changing anything - https://neosmart.net/wiki/backup-restore-registry/

hello. i ended up buying a wifi 6 card with 5.1 bluetooth. i noticed bluetooth devices disconnects after an hour or so. i dont have power management tab under the bluetooth. Also i dont have bluetooth low gantt either under the Human Interface Devices in device manager to turn off power saving for bluetooth

created a new DWORD key named CsEnabled with hexadecimal value 0 in Regedit under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power & restarted, but that did not work either. any idea howto get it to show

have the latest drivers from intel site for ax200 and intel wireless bluetooth

i sill get this in event viewer

The system firmware has changed the processor's memory type range registers (MTRRs) across a sleep state transition (S4). This can result in reduced resume performance.

thats an old error, its been around since 2013

The best place to start with this issue is to open an Administrative Command Prompt. (In Win 10, use Windows Key-X and then the A key--though you will see it on the list.)

Then type: powercfg /requests

You will see a list of the things that might have caused your computer to wake up. To go further and understand how this works and what it means, do a search on "powercfg requests"

There are a number of things that can cause this, and it is not just about Win 10. Follow the links that come up and you may be able to figure out what is waking your computer. If something does show up with this command, look up requestoverrides to see if there is a way to stop it.

I see where you found lower gantt reference now

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ment-tab/62e63e7d-9954-4898-b2a3-44fed70421c5

did you try this? (do this first - https://neosmart.net/wiki/backup-restore-registry/)

Add PlatformAoAcOverride (0) to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power; same place as the old CsEnabled key.

reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power /v PlatformAoAcOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 0

Or to remove: reg delete "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power" /v PlatformAoAcOverride

I can confirm this makes the Power Management tab available again for my Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 card!

I wonder. Unless you have updated windows in the last 2 pages, you are on version 20H1 and current version of win 10 is 21H1

I wonder if updating windows will help

Go here - https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10 - and click 1st link
it will download the upgrade assistant
Run this and it will update win 10 to 21H1.

It might fix it, as the last 2 versions of windows have mostly been bug fixes.

hmm.
only fixes I find everywhere are the 2 I showed you.

I don't have the tab on mine either but I only have ac WIFI - had no reason to ever look for it.
you should have power management for WIFI, perhaps that acts for both since its same card??

I had overlooked this part, I was wondering why you wanted tab. Now i know.

maybe its the antennae that is problem - link

wish we had known about problem with the WIFI before you bought it
i doubt it. its clear and works fine then disconnects as if its a power management issue. ive noticed once it can lag sound but wont disconnect. same issue i had using csr bluetooh usb dongle in the past
