I have been looking into buying a new gaming laptop and was wondering which of the gpus would perform better. I do not fully understand the sli concept so it has been very difficult for me to look them up and compare the two. Thanks
GTX 750m SLI performs slightly better overall at the expense of increased power draw and heat output while having only 2GB of dedicated memory vs. the 3GB of 765m. Whether the heat will become an issue depends on the cooling in the said laptop.
Because of this, as a rule of thumb I would personally stay away from SLI when it comes to laptops. There are also potential motherboard/other mobile hardware compatibility problems.
