Nvidia 950m for XCOM 2?

Hi all,



I was wondering whether the 950m will allow me to play XCOM 2 on High / Ultra setting?

The requirements for the GPU for the game are:

Recommended Graphics: 2GB ATI Radeon HD 7970, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 or better

Certainly not high or ultra, those recommended specs are mid range desktop gaming graphics cards, which are much, much faster than just about any mobile solution, let alone a mid-low-ish end mobile GPU like 950M.

The good news is that the minimum specs of 5770 or 460 are a good deal slower than your 950M, so you should be able to run the game at least.

I'm surprised.. is there a laptop for the range of AU$1000 that will allow me to play the game on High at least?

I do not know about ultra. I'm not as knowledgeable but other mobile GPUs are the 970m and 980m. You would want to look into one of those but there not cheap.
