Nvidia card not functioning properly

All of the software that my nVidia GT 525M 1GB seems to be functioning normally, and i have configured the nvidia to be the default GPU, but anytime I run system requirement software (Razer game booster/canyourunit) they detect my default intel graphics instead of the nvidia card. Also none of my games run exeptionally well, even though my computer (with the graphics card) would surpass all of the requirements, so I think that they are running off the default graphics as well.

Which GPU is connected to your video monitor?
That is the one everything will be using...
You must enable and configure any changes to vidcard priority within your BIOS setup.
