I mean if you aren't asking the locals where the best food is, then you aren't really doing yourself a service when visiting other countries. What an odd thing to focus on.
I generally agree with you, buttttt maybe with a bit of a caution for Vietnam / Cambodia... I didn't partake in whatever caused it, but a whole group got a parasite that took forever to properly diagnose back in the US. We think it was in Cambodia. No matter, buyer beware!

The fact this guy is worth 42 billion reflects all that is wrong with the industry today.

Graphics cards should be sooooooooo much cheaper than they are.
When the man has more money than the entire GDP of more than 100 countries in the world AND he got most of it in a single year, it's kind of hard to disagree.

But hey, he still eats and sleeps like a human person. I do that too. My kind of guy!

Jesnsen employs a very well paid PR team to make sure stuff like this makes it into the news.
He should probably fire them though, because the "Look how relatable I am please stop taxing/hating me" schtick always comes off as super creepy for him.
It's like "Bobby Kotick bought himself a role in Moneyball" levels of cringe.

And here I thought he would be demanding, "SUGAR. IN WATER!" from the street vendors. To anyone who gets that reference, nice!

I don't get it, but I still don't understand why anyone thinks this is news. What did people expect? an AI cooking food for him? a private chef? I don't know what people could have possibly expected.
Maybe because you don't see these big shot guys doing common things. I know the CEO of the company I used to work for was not allowed to drive himself or do dangerous sports like skydiving etc. It seems it is the insurance companies or something. When he retired he was saying to celebrate he was going skydiving the next day.

He earned his status and prosperity by hard work and persistence. He has every right to enjoy it however he wants. Just because you have a lot of money doesn't mean you're not a man of the people.
I think a lot of times people are just worried they're a target because of their status and that's pretty logical thinking.
And sometimes rich people are jerks.
What's different about the rest of the human race? There are many different types of people.

"Hard work and persistence"

No, he pays people to work hard and be persistent (probably less than they're worth), then he jacks up the prices of his products to the extent that the majority of people who could afford one tier 5 years ago have to go a tier or two lower.

But hey, he eats street food, so he's so relatable... gtfo of here.

The two major GPU manufacturers have profited immensely on the cryptocurrency boom.
That boom caused shortages and price hikes of GPUs for those who wanted one for other purposes.

For my own sake, I'm not a gamer, but I'd like to do video editing and 3D CAD — useful, productive stuff — for which a graphics card is essential.
