I recently got myself a EVGA GTX 770, replacing my old HD 7870. I removed the drivers of my old graphics card and used driver sweeper to ensure no files remained, I then proceeded to install my new graphics and then its' drivers.
Now I've come to a problem where my desktop colour settings won't save on Nvidia control panel, if I launch a game it will revert to the default settings (a dull looking display) instead of a nice vibrant and colourful display. This just ruins the games for me, I've tried multiple games and it happens for each of them, it even reverts to default after restarting my computer.

I did some googling and I constantly found people giving the "wipe your drivers and reinstall" solution, so I gave it a try, uninstalled the drivers and used driver sweep, but to my dismay it made absolutely no difference. I'm still at square one.

Does anyone know of a solution? I just can't find one anywhere.

In your Nvidia Control Panel, go to the Change Resolution tab under Display, and then find the option "Output dynamic range" and switch it from Limited to Full.

Hope that helps.

One of the posts above mention to delete the folder C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation. That's correct, but
do so using Unlocker Unlocker. It's so much quicker than having to deal with changing file permissions oneself. Eventually Unlocker will require you to reboot in order to delete the folder. The nvidia control panel user settings should then load after rebooting into the Desktop.

This fixed both the PCs I have which run Win 10 pro. Be careful to uncheck the Search engine Toolbar thingy bundled with Unlocker if you don't want it.
