In my opinion, the RX 7800 XT is the best card you can get for under 600 Euros. The only way that Nvidia is going to "rival" the RX 7800 XT is to drastically lower their prices...but we know that will never happen.

It's not just the prices: if it really wants to rival AMD for mid-range, Nvidia has to stop releasing 12 GB cards. We 're just a few days shy of 2024, for God's sake. 16 GBs, should be a bare minimum, IMHO.

They kinda have to stick with AD104 and that only allows 192 bit bus.

It's either gonna be a 12Gb GPU or they will somehow pull another GTX 970 or something

Hypothetically they could. Realistically they won't. Yields are good and they'd have to use 4070 ti pcb's in order for it to match the bga of AD103.
Yields have been good sure. But if they had enough AD103s that came in just under good enough for a 4070 Ti SUPER why wouldn't they save them for a 16gb 4070 Super? Rather than throw them in the trash. I can't imagine the PCB matters much/easily enough redesigned. Sure it would gut sales for the lesser cards even at $100 more or else push down the price of the lesser cards which they definitely don't want to do.... RIGHT NOW. But several months down the road after sales have slowed as a hail mary for the midrange adas before Blackwell starts to come in? Let me dream it, brother. But no doubt I'm definitely dreaming
