As title says I have a problem updating my GPU's driver, I changed from 970 to 1080ti so I deleted the driver of my 970 with DDU (safe mode), then downloaded a manual driver v.417.71 (the latest one).

I got told that I had to make sure my version of windows was up to date, which it is:

I proceed with the driver installment and everything goes well until it goes to system check and says that my GPU's driver is not compatible with this version of windows?

I downloaded Automatic Driver Updates from geforce.com, driver seems to work but Nvidia Control Panel is missing and can't find a way to download it unless I use a manuel installer.. I really need Nvidia Control Panel to make my Gsync work + activate my Hz.

I tried to reinstall windows twice which didn't fix my problem at all, I really need help asap!!
Thanks !

what makes you think it will work if you install the standalone driver without geforce experience? not having access to the control panel is an issue on it's own, you will 100% find how to enable it if you search on google

Yeah DDU deleted the whole folders, but I've never tried to install in another location, I can try .

Nope, nothing seems to work, I tried DDU again and tried to install the driver afterward and it worked perfectly, then Nvidia Control Panel disappeared in my face like it deleted itself.
